Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary philosophy and standards
- Oversee food preparation and ensure the highest quality and presentation of dishes
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation techniques and standards
- Manage inventory and food costs to meet budgetary goals
- Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional events and special menus
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong culinary skills and a creative approach to menu development
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
